Imperator puts the safety of its staff, its sites and the general public at the forefront of everything it does. Some of the work carried out by Imperator Group companies is fraught with risk and danger. Great care must be taken to avoid striking electricity, water and other utility cables on any excavation works. Gas is highly volatile. One mistake could lead to an explosion, resulting in damage to property, serious injury or, in the worst case scenario, death.
Thorough risk assessments are carried out and recorded for all tasks. All near misses are recorded and reported. Operatives and teams are encouraged to regularly take safety moments, where they step back and look for potential issues.
